Who we are

SlingGate is run by Mechanix Digital Pty Ltd, an Australian company. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Mechanix Digital Pty Ltd. This policy explains what we do with the details you give us on this website. It does not cover the records that businesses using SlingGate keep about their own clients: each business is responsible for those, so please ask that business about its own privacy policy.

What we collect

When you request a call, we collect your name, business name, email, phone number (if you give it), country, type of business, rough number of practitioners and anything you write in the notes box.

When you sign up for launch updates, we collect your email, your name and country (if you give them), and the date and wording of the consent you ticked.

To stop spam, we also keep a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address for up to 30 days. We never store the address itself. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The page loads its font from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch it.

Why we collect it

• To call or email you back about SlingGate, if you asked for a call.
• To email you about the SlingGate launch, if you signed up for updates.

We only use your details to contact you about SlingGate. We don't sell them, we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing, and we never use them to train AI.

Where it's stored

Your details are stored in our database in Sydney, Australia. The website runs on Cloudflare's network, so your request may be handled at a Cloudflare data centre close to you, and we use an email provider to send and receive email. These providers only process your details to run the service for us.

How long we keep it

We keep call requests while we're talking with you about SlingGate, and launch signups until you unsubscribe. Either way, you can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Unsubscribing, access and deletion

To unsubscribe from launch updates, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email support@slinggate.com. To see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, email support@slinggate.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or to the data protection authority where you live, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office or Ireland's Data Protection Commission.
